Effective 1 October 2026
This site is run by Party People AI LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. Write to us at privacy@partypeople.ai, or see Contact.
This policy covers partypeople.ai and the Party People AI text messages described in Text messages. It does not describe any other product or service, because none is available yet. When one is, it will come with its own policy, and you will see it before you use anything.
Online identifiers such as cookie identifiers and your IP address, the pages you looked at and what you clicked, and general device information. If you decline, none of this is collected. See Cookies, analytics and advertising.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, anything else.
We do not use your email for anything unrelated to access, and we do not add it to any other list.
What you send us is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase) in the United States, and a notification of each request is sent to us by email through our email delivery provider. Both act on our instructions.
If you allow advertising, information about your visit is passed to the platforms named in Cookies, analytics and advertising. Under the privacy laws of California, Colorado, Connecticut and other states this counts as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and in some of those states it falls within the legal definition of a sale, even though no money is paid to us. We say so because that is how the law defines it. You can switch it off at any time, and it is off until you switch it on.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or if the business is sold, in which case we will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we have never done so.
We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.
All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Party People AI sends two kinds of text message. Texts are only about using the service: they concern an event you are invited to or part of, or something you asked us to do. We never send advertisements, offers or promotions by text.
Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. That stops every text from Party People AI to your number, for every event and from every organizer, until you reply START. We will send one message confirming it, and nothing after that. You can also ask us to stop by writing to privacy@partypeople.ai. Reply HELP to any message for help.
The full terms of the program are in our Terms & Conditions.
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Your email address, your choice, and the two ranges if you gave them | Until early access has opened and we have contacted you, and no longer than 12 months after that. Deleted sooner the moment you ask. |
| Your mobile number and your text-message consent | For an invitation, 12 months after the event it was for; if you agreed to updates, while you are opted in. After you reply STOP, we keep your number on a do-not-text list for as long as we send text messages, used only to make sure you are not texted again, and a record of your consent and opt-out for four years, only to show that we honoured them. |
| Server and error logs | 90 days |
| Analytics, if you allowed it | 14 months at visitor level, then aggregated |
| Data held by advertising platforms, if you allowed it | Held by each platform under its own rules. Withdrawing consent stops further sharing. |
To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us. To leave the list, correct your email, or have everything we hold about you deleted, write to privacy@partypeople.ai. We will do it and confirm, normally within a few days and never longer than the law allows. We will only ask you for what we need to find your entry, which is usually just the email address you gave us.
Depending on where you live you may have the right to know what we hold, to get a copy, to correct or delete it, to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. You can opt out of advertising without contacting us, in one click, through Cookie choices or Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in the footer, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour automatically. An authorised agent may act for you. If we decline a request we will say why, and you may appeal by replying to our answer.
On this site, analytics and advertising technologies are switched off until you turn them on. Nothing in those categories loads while the choice is in front of you, and nothing loads at all if you decline. We group them as follows.
| Category | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Serves the page and stores your privacy choice on your device. | Always on. It cannot be switched off and it does not identify you. |
| Analytics | Counts visits and shows which parts of the page people read. | Off until you allow it. |
| Advertising | Measures advertising campaigns and builds audiences. Under California law, passing data to advertising platforms counts as sharing personal information, even though no money changes hands. | Off until you allow it. |
Your mobile number and your text-message opt-in are never passed to an advertising platform, whatever you choose here.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie choices link in the footer of any page. Declining is one click and is exactly as easy as accepting.
| Name | Set by | Category | What it is for | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pp_consent_v1 | PartyPeople | Essential | Stores your privacy choice so we do not ask again. Held in your browser's local storage, not sent to us. | Until you clear it, or until this notice changes |
| _ga, _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Analytics, and Advertising where Google Signals applies | Distinguishes one visitor from another so visits can be counted. Where you have also allowed advertising, Google Signals adds cross-device and demographic information. | 13 months |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Analytics | Distinguishes visitors within a day | 24 hours |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Advertising | Attributes a sign-up to the advertisement that led to it | 90 days |
| IDE, test_cookie | Google DoubleClick | Advertising | Measures and targets advertising | Up to 13 months |
| _fbp, _fbc | Meta | Advertising | Measures Facebook and Instagram advertising and builds audiences | 90 days |
| _ttp | TikTok | Advertising | Measures TikTok advertising and builds audiences | 13 months |
| _pin_unauth, _pinterest_ct_ua, _epik, _derived_epik | Advertising | Measures Pinterest advertising and builds audiences | Up to 12 months | |
| li_sugr, bcookie, lidc, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory | Advertising | Measures LinkedIn advertising and builds audiences | Up to 12 months |
Each of those platforms handles what it receives under its own privacy policy, as an independent controller and not on our instructions: Google, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn. We set Google Analytics to retain visitor-level data for 14 months. Google Analytics is also configured with Google Signals, which lets Google associate a visit with people who are signed in to a Google account and have turned on Ads Personalization, so that we can see a visit made across more than one device and a general picture of the age, gender and interests of our visitors. Google Signals is advertising technology, so it only operates for visitors who have allowed the Advertising category, and it never operates for a visitor who allowed analytics alone, declined, or sent a Global Privacy Control signal. If we add a platform to this list, we will ask you again rather than carry your old answer over to something you have not seen.
When you have allowed advertising and you request access, we also send that request to those platforms from our own server, with your email address scrambled (hashed) so that it cannot be read, so that it is counted once even if your browser blocks the tags.
If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an instruction to opt out of sharing your personal information for advertising. We apply it automatically, we do not ask you to confirm it, and we do not override it if you previously accepted advertising on this device. Several states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon and Texas, require us to honor it, and we honor it for every visitor regardless of where they live.
The Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in our footer opens the same controls. We do not sell personal information for money. We describe advertising as sharing because that is the broader definition the law uses.
This site is written for adults who are planning an event, and we do not direct it to children. We do not knowingly enable advertising technologies for anyone we know to be under 17, and California law requires us to obtain opt-in consent before sharing the personal information of anyone we know to be aged 13 to 16. Because we do not ask visitors their age, our protection is that nothing in the analytics or advertising categories runs for anyone until it is switched on. If you believe we have collected a child’s information through these technologies, email privacy@partypeople.ai and we will delete it. See Children.
This site is written for adults who are planning an event and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, write to privacy@partypeople.ai and we will delete it.
Information travels over encrypted connections and is stored with encryption at rest. No system is entirely secure, and we cannot promise that a determined attacker will never succeed, but if a breach affects you we will tell you and any regulator as the law requires.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell people on the list by email before it takes effect. When a product becomes available it will have its own, fuller policy.
